God I'm such a slacker! I haven't finished anything decent enough to post in a long time!
I'd like to promise that I'll post something soon, but honestly, I don't really know how much time I'll have over the summer for art; so rather than make a promise I might break, I'll just work very hard and try my best to fit drawing into my schedule.
The main reason I'm worried about spare time is becasue I moved into a dorm 3 days ago. Yep, I am now a Gator at the University of Florida! *yay school spirit*
So of course I've been busy doing all the stuff that moving entails: packing, unpacking, getting to know the city, and lets not forget plastering the walls with J-rockers! lol
But I'm hoping that my class will leave me with some free time...though from what my teachers said, the prospect looks grim. ¬_¬ Classes are every workday, and students are expected to study at least 6 hours a day on their own.... we'll see how long that lasts. *slacker much?* lol
Well I'm really going to try and get some new art done and posted, and hopefully I'll learn a little along the way!

Yep, so today was my last day of class before spring break. ^^
I'm spending the majority of my free week in Washington D.C. and going to the Smithsonian museums. I haven't been there in several years, and I didn't get to see very much last time, so I'm gald to be going. ^^

The Inagakuen Sogo wind orchestra preformed at my last college night, and a good friend of mine got us tickets. He said he saw the advertisement, thought of me, and rushed for tickets. ^^ The concert was truly outstanding! It's obvious why they are one of Japan's best!

OMG MegaCon was the best!
I got to goof off with my friends all weekend long with no homework or school responsibilities!
I got to cosplay as a Pikachu Kigurumi and pose for people with my fellow Kigurumi's, shop for lots of J-rock, Dorama and yaoi goodies, and my sister and I also got a cute 'hello' wave from Vic Mignoga (voice of Ed from FMA) as he scurried right in front of our seats at a pannel. I was also able to practice my Japanese a little listening to Vidoll's Q and A pannel and asking a hot guy at my hotel for a picture. ^^ I took one of him, he took one of me, and his friend took one of him with my sister and I. My sister said he kept looking over at us and thought he really wanted a photo but was too shy to ask. Yay for Japanese hotties!
Speaking of which, I got to meet Rame and Jui from Vidoll! Needless to say, I got autographs and photos! Rame is such a sweetie, he posed for me personally! *fangirl squeel*
They liked my costume too ^^ they were both like "Pikachu!... Pika! Pika!"

I'm leaving morning tomorrow morning for MegaCon!
This is my second year going and not to sound too fangirls, but OMG I'm so excited! Jui and Rame from Vidoll are going to be there this year! I'm soooo getting their autograph's! Jui is a-freaking-mazing! Gorgeous voice and face!
*regains some sense of self composure* Ahem, anyways, moving on! I have my Pikachu Kigurumi outfit to cosplay in this year so it's going to be great! ^^

New art will be comming soon, I swear I have not forgotten! Classes have been time consuming this semester becasue they require alot of reading. More reading time = less drawing time
But I've got another project well under way and plenty of inspiration so there will be new work soon!

Yes, I'd like to apologize for my lack of activity as of late...I just wasn't in the mood to draw that dog!! Grrrrr! And of course I couldn't start any other projects until I did finished it becasue I'd end up forgetting and never complete it. But now that it is FINALLY DONE I'm eagerly looking forward to drawing and posting more things more often! Bring on the J-rockers!!

My major motivation -that finaly push I needed to finish that dog- came from a friend at school. I told him I'd like to draw him one day, and he volunteerd to be my model! I'm so grateful that I have someone so willing to help me!

But yeah, all in all, I'm very sorry for my slacking. I will work hard to post more!
